I am interested in how to present  movement in its pure form. I manipulate line and shape to create a sense of continuous motion from form to form. I am interested in moments of tension and release and the idea of constructing and deconstructing material. I believe that the body and form are enough to express a movement idea or concept. As a dancer and choreographer I am interested in creating phrase work that utilize repetition and replacement to emphasize form. The phrasing itself demands precision and focuses on direction to show the movement in its pure form. The use repetition in my work is also used to show how the material was constructed.
